  • Why is melatonin no longer recommended?

In some countries, melatonin may no longer be recommended as a long-term solution for sleep issues due to concerns about its potential side effects and the lack of long-term safety data. The recommendations may vary depending on the country and regulatory agency.

  • Is it safe to take melatonin every night?

For most people, taking melatonin every night for a short period (up to 1-2 months) is generally considered safe. However, the long-term safety of melatonin use is not well-established. It's essential to consult with a healthcare professional before taking melatonin regularly.

  • Which brand of melatonin is best?

The best brand of melatonin is one that is high-quality, pure, and free from contaminants. Look for brands that are third-party tested and have a good reputation. Some reputable brands include Natrol, Life Extension, 21st Century and NOW Foods. However, individual experiences may vary.

  • Is melatonin safer than sleeping pills?

  • Is melatonin still safe?
